Anyone else on here like Medbh McGuckian? I started reading her after a friends said Joanna Newsom's lyrics reminded them of her. Her imagery is just stunning. Lodges right in your head and stays there.

I agree with the Joanna Newsom comparison.
"The moon is salmon as a postage stamp over the tonsured trees, a rise-and-fall lamp".
springs to mind. Enjoy discovering this wonderful poet.

Yep - read a couple of her collections think she has 14 collections in print i was at the book of the angels launch i agree her imagery really is wow
