"S.A.F.E." is beginning an we are inviting artists (of all types - visual, literary, performance, etc etc) to become members of Community Visual Images so they can
- Have a voice and vote at the AGM which is soon
- Get involved with current events at Safehouse
- Meet fellow artists who use the space
- Recognise that Safehouse is willing to provide material/space/resources for artistic endeavours
OVERALL:
"To create an innovative uncensored FREE think tank or forum for artistic expression, creativity, networking, research and international cross-fertilisation between people who believe that ART IS THE ULTIMATE AND HIGHEST FORM OF HUMAN EXPRESSION!"
-
The night will consist of an informal meeting where those who want to become involved can introduce themselves and discuss projects, Safehouse and get the ball rolling!
There will also be a photography exhibition preview of "Shankhill Meets Falls" with wine and discussion.
---
There is also welcome opportunity for any poets, comedians and spoken word artists to provide some entertainment during the laid-back evening. Just t*urn up with an interest!
---
Safehouse Arts Space, 25a Donegall Street, Belfast @ 6pm!
*Gerard, the wordfuck system is beginning to just become a hassle now.
