Ah, I forgot to say that we are running the usual public access slots at both Poetry Circuit events. To take part, get six poems to Mary Denvir at Bookfinders- by post or person she doesn't do email, and she'll get back to you.

As regards poetry circuit event in november, is there a time -limit ? i.e. I have a long poem that takes twelve minutes to read and know that some venues would not allow such a long piece. is there any point in submitting it for consideration?

Bookfinders event had mediocre turnout. 3 landscapers showed projected photos with poems. then 4 new-to-bookys poets read their stuff 2 women 2 men including work from catherine's due-to-be-published-book. finally a set from charlie graham new book launch. there were a number of excellent hats on show during the evening and mark madden as compere kept us on a skewed leash as usual. thanks to mary denvir for venue. next event 21st november.

On Bull Frog's point, there is a time limit for the public access slots. However, if you are considering a longer piece, let me know at Creative Writers Network, with a view to the featured poet slot, which is longer. Mark
